Photography is all about catching that moment in time. I like to try and capture moments around me be that the landscape or the people.
Each has a story to tell and I am trying to explore those with photography
I love capturing portraits of people; It never ceases to amaze me how much emotion you can capture in a single image.
The process of capturing a portrait is fascinating and so much more than just pointing a camera at someone and closing a shutter.
Portraits are about connecting with and getting to know your model, making them feel comfortable enough to relax and show their true selves.
Those are the images that I strive to capture each time
A good headshot can tell someone so much about you in a single glance.
How you hold yourself, how relaxed you are, how you are engaging with the camera, these all tell a subtle tale of trust and confidence.

My first passion was Landscapes. Going out into my local area and trying to find those images that really tell a story about where I am.
It could be a historical building which tells a story of times gone by, or it could be a street scene that tells a story about the here and now.
Like all genres this is an area I am always improving and returning to. It is wonderfully cathartic to escape into the wilderness for a few hours with no phone signal, a camera and just nature for company.
